Career HighLights

Scott David Brosius was selected by Oakland in the 20th round of the 1987 draft ... finished second in Midwest League with .304 average in 1988 ... led Southern League in hits, runs, and total bases, 1990 ... went 2-for-4 in his Major League debut August 7, 1991 ... missed parts of 1992 season with bruised left hip and a viral infection ... had his best Major League season in 1996, leading the American League with a .365 average with runners in scoring position ... missed 47 games with a broken arm.

Brosius finished the 1998 Worls Series 8-for-17 (.471) with two homers and six RBI in four games to earn the 1998 World Series MVP honors after New York defeated the San Diego Padres 3-0 in Game 4.
