Posada, Jr., was signed by the Yankees as a free agent in 1991, from Puerto Rico ... played second base for Oneonta in 1991, before converting to catcher full-time in 1992 ... led Carolina League with 38 passed balls in 1993 ... led league with four intentional walks, 1993 ... badly injured in home plate collision for Columbus, July 25, 1994, missing the rest of the season ... named to International League All-Star Teams in 1995 and 1996 ... made Major League debut September 4, 1995, against Seattle ... led International League in Walks, 1996.
